I am a journalist with more than 15 years experience covering news, features, entertainment, business, politics and investigative stories. My television experience includes stints as an anchor, reporter, writer and producer while at multiple network affiliates and cable stations, including CBS, NBC and CNN.
I am a mother of a 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy who excel as honor students, musical performers and chess team members and who enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends and watching movies and playing games with family.
I have been with my husband for more than 15 years and enjoy watching his rock band and celebrating his successes in the music and real estate industries.
I have an extensive background as a journalist in television, print, radio and online.
Most recently, I have been a reporter and anchor for “First Business News,” a nationally syndicated financial news television program based in Chicago.
I spent more than 15 years reporting general assignment news, and later in-depth investigative stories, for the CBS affiliate in Milwaukee.
I have worked as a beat reporter for Electronic Media national trade magazine, The Los Angeles Daily News and Us magazine to name a few print outlets. I also worked in radio, as a correspondent and producer for the Mancow Morning Show, which was nationally syndicated from Chicago’s WLS-AM, as well as WLRN-FM, the Miami NPR affiliate.
My broadcast experience allowed me to expand my skills into the corporate world, and in recent years I have freelanced as a media relations consultant producing stories for NPN Media as well as writing press releases and newsletters for Strategic Marketing Resources and planning and executing press conferences and corporate video productions for an automotive technology company.
I am an eternal optimist driven to exceed in all areas of my life and inspire others around me to do the same.
